Rejoice! Mythic Quest is back on Apple TV+ with a special standalone episode called “Everlight.”
This special one-off episode sees the Mythic Quest team facing the one thing we’re all not looking forward to: a return to the office and our fellow co-workers. (Ugh.) This all new, half-hour special episode finds the team behind the biggest multiplayer video game of all-time returning to the office for their annual Everlight party, with Poppy (Charlotte Nicdao) and Ian (Rob McElhenney) rigging a LARP (Live Action Role-Play) tournament in an underdog’s favor. In addition to the award-winning returning ensemble cast, special guest star Academy Award winner Sir Anthony Hopkins (Yeah! That Anthoney Hopkins!) also lends his voice to the episode.
The special episode is directed by star, co-creator, and executive producer Rob McElhenney, who reached out to us personally (not really) and had this to say:

Ahead of our upcoming second season, we felt it was the perfect way (and the perfect time) to invite the audience back into the world of Mythic Quest.”
“Everlight” follows the widely acclaimed “Mythic Quest: Quarantine” special episode, which was lauded as one of the best episodes of television produced during the pandemic.
“Everlight” premieres exclusively on Apple TV+, on Friday, April 16.
